Anam Cara B&B - Cork

had a good stay on a business trip, glad i've chosen it. this hotel was located in a central area very close to college town and access from limerick road and centre and the center of town where the pubs.

The room we had included central heating, TV set, and an electric kettle. The food was great - a great selection of options.

Actually everything was really good, my next choice again in Cork. Spent my time lovely here, I thoroughly enjoyed the place. The staff was amiable and helpful. It was tastefully decorated, fully-equipped and with fresh towels. The location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, at a short distance from Lewis Glucksman Gallery.

The rooms were nicely decorated and fully-equipped with comfy bed - we greatly enjoyed it.

Cooked-to-order items that stood out. The host was cute, providing excellent local tips and advice. I found the room cozy and clean, although a bit dated was good.

Is it really that good? My take

The breakfast was Excellent and every bit delicious! Aideen's fun spirit made our mornings brighter, while the private parking was a golden perk.

Though the room was cozy, we found navigating the stairs tricky for the Beautiful King Room. The bathroom felt a touch cramped too!

I had a lovely stay with a charming, spacious room and the most delicious in-house smoked salmon for breakfast. The only downside was my short stay, just two nights!

We explored the area on foot, hitting up nearby attractions and enjoying a good breakfast that fueled our adventures. The hosts were amenable, even accommodating our family dog!

My wife says that the bathroom space could be better.

I stayed in the Beautiful King Room for 2 nights. The room was clean, but definitely felt a bit dated. The bed was comfy enough, a plus! Just a heads up, the bathroom was on the smaller side. Since we were right on the busy road, it was a little noisy, but closing the windows helped a lot.

A highlight was the generous and delicious breakfast, prepared to order from a varied menu, setting a perfect tone for the day. While parking was somewhat tricky, with spots either at the back or front and not directly on the road, the overall experience was upgraded with the convenient location was good.
